I called the risk of a directional shift/pause/yesterday.

For today,

Upside limited while below 2909

Supports: 2881/2852/2834/2806

2852 is most significant, below it would negate the lsst leg up to 2942.

USDJPY 4 HOUR CHART – Unwinding J{Y crosses lead the way

Short-term trend : Up

Longer-term trend: Retracement. 153.975 = 38.2% vs 153.88 high so far today

Keeps a bid while above 153.20

Below 152.89 puts 152,00-50 back on the table

Downward momentum broken, 74.17 stands in the way of extending the upside.

USDJPY 4 HOUR CHART – Momentum mixed

When you see 2 currencies move in opposite directions you can assume there are real money cross currency flows driving the market.

In this case, the USD was down vs all except the JPY…. US bond yields were higher, which could have been a factor behind a softer JPY.

Chart shows omentum currently mixed… would need to break153.20 for it to build.

Otherwise,

152.50+ is needed to make a run at 152.90-153.20

Below 152 neutralizes the upside risk.

As long as below 2.45 targets 2.05

XRP is now within range of 2.05 & 3.30

I would like to see a determined move Up before I can accept that we already saw a low.

Best scenario in my opinion would be a test of Support 2.05 and very sharp move back up.

vNAS100 4 HOUR CHART – Holding pattern

No change here as well. NAS100 can smell it but can’t get enough push to reach 21838, a break of which would open the door to the key 21856 high.

On the downside, keeps a bid while above 21295.

And here it comes – as I warned last night – test of 4.00

Now it is all on tomorrow’s day – if it manages to come back sharply to at least 4.25, Nio would have a chance to break above 4.40

However, if 4.00 lost – next station 3.60

And here we go – above 22.000

If DAX can sustain this momentum ( for that it has to find a footing above 22K), a new universe would open.

That universe has borders between 22K & 24K

I am still very cautious – I need one more day to be certain….

US500 4 HOUR CHART – Yawn session

I can just repeat it wants to go higher but cannot build enough momentum to challenge the 6118 high.

This leaves it in a 5987-6092 range with a bid as long as it stays above 6000.

XAUUSD 4 HOUR CHART – Is XAUUSD Ready for a Pause

Setup fwa or a pause as indicated here earlier and in my blog article Is XAUUSD Ready for a Pause saw it work out with a low at 2881… which was also around the old record high…. 2852 i the level  that needs to hold to prevent a dee[er retracement.
